Influential Music and International Shipping

Some people call it the "British Invasion." Others refer to it as some of the most influential music in modern history.

Whatever you call it, you probably know at least one Beatles song. Not only did the Beatles revolutionize the music scene all over the world, but also contributed to anti-war protests in the 1960's.

Here are some of the most influential Beatles songs. Also, if you are planning to travel to England (to visit the Beatles museum in Liverpool, for example), don't forget K International Transport's international shipping services to ship your belongings overseas.

     1. I Want to Hold Your Hand

This song was the first No.1 hit in the United States, and started the Beatles craze in America. John, Paul, George, and Ringo, performed this song on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, which started their immense global popularity.

Just as the Beatles impressed the world with "I Want to Hold Your Hand," K International Transport can impress you by helping with all of your international shipping needs. We can transport you car with our overseas car shipping services to Great Britain, or anywhere else in the world!

     2. Revolution

This song was released in 1986, and was inspired by the events of the 1960's, as well as other already existing anti-war protests. Unlike the Beatles' other songs, "Revolution" had an undertone that demanded change, and inspired other artists to release their own anti-war and anti-government songs.

If K International Transport had to revolt against something, it would be unsafe shipping of consumer cargo overseas. We are a reliable international shipping company, and we can safely ship your cargo overseas with containerized shipping.

     3. Eleanor Rigby

"Eleanor Rigby" is important because it signaled the Beatles' progression into an experimental genre of music. Going from songs like "I Want to Hold your Hand," which spoke of personal lighthearted experiences, to songs like "Eleanor Rigby," which poetically told stories of sadness, would influence future bands. No one anticipated that the Beatles to release a song like this, which served to change their image, and possibly keep them exciting for fans who didn't know what to expect.

Unlike the Beatles, we don't like to experiment with our shipping procedures, because we already do our best to ensure that your shipping experiences are hassle-free. We can ship your cargo to Port of London, or anywhere in Europe, Asia, Africa, or South America!

The Founding Fathers and International Shipping!

With Independence Day still fresh in everyone's mind and fireworks still decorating the sky, isn't it time to look at those who made the United States what it is today?

We are talking about the Founding Fathers, of course!

They not only helped draft the constitution and other official documents regarding the start of this country and its independence from England, but also came up with all of the ideas about government that we still use today. Without their ideas, there would be no America, and more importantly, no international shipping services

So here are some of the most important founding fathers:

George Washington
Everyone knows him as the 1st president of the United States, but not everyone knows about the sacrifices he made to get there. First, the battles he lead as an inexperienced general in the Revolutionary War had a profound affect on the aftermath of the war, and eventually the defeat of England. Also, Washington was one of the first Founding Fathers to "outline" what he thought the government should be like.
Similarly, K International is one of the most reliable international shipping companies there are, and we will help you defeat all of your battles against international shipping mishaps. Whether you want to ship a car, with our overseas car shipping services, or a boat, with our international boat shipping services, we will get your cargo there in no time!

Benjamin Franklin
This Founding Father not only contributed to the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, AND the Constitution, but was also a scientist and writer on the side! He was a Jack of all trades, and worked up to a very old age. He was the oldest delegate at the Continental Congress (over 80 years old)!
K International Transport, like Benjamin Franklin, can look after every aspect of your international shipping needs. We will transport your cargo to a port in the United States, ship it internationally with ro/ro services or in a container, and oversee that it gets to its destination with no problems!

Alexander Hamilton
Founding Father, secretary of the treasury, and economic genius? Yes, that sounds like Alexander Hamilton. He ran the treasury, but did so in a way that was unorthodox and not understood by everyone. His federalist policies, especially those involving the National Bank of the United States, revolutionized the country's economy. Unfortunately he was killed in a duel at a young age, otherwise, who knows what else he'd do?
K International will handle all aspects of your international shipping, including all of the monetary issues. We will get your cargo, whether it be a car, a boat, or construction equipment with construction equipment shipping  services, to its destination efficiently and for an affordable price!

Watch this Alexander Hamilton rap to truly understand his inspirational life!

Happy Independence Day!

Everyone knows the story of America's independence from Britain in the 18th century. A series of taxes and oppressive laws led colonists to revolt a number of times, including the events at the Boston Tea Party (previously discussed here).

However, not everyone knows the implications of America's independence on international shipping services

After the revolutionary war, one of America's rights was to import and export whatever they chose, outside of the mercantile boundaries placed on the 13 colonies by Great Britain at the time.

So as you celebrate July 4th, and Independence Day weekend, remember that if you want to ship a boat to anywhere in the world, with international boat shipping services, you can do so because of the efforts of Americans in the Revolutionary War!

Also, you have the choice of which international shipping company to use when you ship your cargo, but know that K International Transport is the best! We offer many services, including:

  •  international shipping services from any port in the United States, including but not limited to those in New York, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California!
  • Inland trucking and transportation services, just in case you need to get your cargo from another state and bring it to a port city.
  • roll-on/roll-off services to board your cargo onto a vessel before shipping it abroad.

So call K International Transport today if you are looking for an international shipping company to get your cargo anywhere in the world, including Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America. International Shipping Role Model!

Although many historical figures are responsible for making international shipping services  what they are today, one stands above the rest. This person not only revolutionized international shipping, making it common and accepted in the region, but was also able to open up an entire city because of it!

We are, of course, talking about Catherine the Great!

Catherine the Great was known for being the longest-ruling female leader of Russia, reigning for 34 years in the second half of the 18th century. However, this wasn't the most pivotal thing about her! For one, she wasn't even Russian! She married into the infamous Romanov family, before finding herself part of a coup to overthrow her husband. Even more amazing, during her reign, she put down over a dozen rebellions!

But what does this have to do with international shipping, and international shipping companies?

Although Catherine the Great was known for many things, she was most renowned for her westernization policies. She opened Russia to Western ideas, including art, philosophy, technology, and music. With these policies, Catherine the Great helped transform St. Petersburg from a "backwards" city, to a cultural hub.

Thanks to her encouragement of international shipping, especially of the transport of new technology into St. Petersburg, the city is what it is today!

So how can K International Transport help? Well, we can ship your cargo from any port in the United States, including
  • New York
  • Florida
  • Virginia
  • Maryland
  • South Carolina
  • Georgia
  • Texas
  • California
We will ship your cargo, whether it be an automobile with our overseas car transport services, or virtually anything else, to Russia efficiently and for an affordable price that even Catherine the Great would be proud of!

MVP's of Team USA

Here at K International, we are
"Fútbol" fans. As you probably know, team USA was eliminated yesterday
when they lost againsBelgium, 2-1. However, team USA played well and
gave us a lot to celebrate.

So without further ado, here are the top two most valuable players from
yesterday's game, and how K International Transport's
international shipping services can compare:

Tim Howard
He is the goalkeeper that everyone has been talking about. But what is so
special about him? Well, not only is he considered one of the best goalies in the world,
but he set a record in yesterday's game: he had 16 saves against Belgium! Even
though Belgium ended up winning, Howard really helped team USA with
 impeccable defense!
Similarly, at K International Transport, we are the goalies of international shipping!
We will protect your cargo, whether it be an automobile, with our overseas car shipping
services, or virtually anything else, from the elements with roll-on/roll-off services.

Tim Howard had 16 saves against Belgium in yesterday's game!

Julian Green
Another favorite, Julian Green is a forward who scored the goal against Belgium in the July 1st game. What makes him special is that he is one of the youngest players on the team, only 19 years old! The goal was unexpected, but that made it all the more exciting for USA fans!
At K International, even though we probably cannot score any goals against Belgium, we are a reliable international shipping company, and we will definitely "score" every time you need to ship something overseas. We can make sure that your cargo gets to its destination quickly and safely, with no extra hassle on your part!

Although the USA team has many valuable players, these two took the top prize for yesterday's game against Belgium!

Here are some other ways K International Transport is the MVP of international shipping:
