When you ship your car overseas, one of the first areas of concern is how to comply with United States Export regulations. For any export valued at over $2,500.00 per schedule B number (the number assigned to exports based on what they are), the U.S. government requires that you file a Shipper's Export Declaration. As a licensed Freight Forwarder, K International Transport can file the SED on your behalf, making international car shipping that much easier for you. K International Transport is an international shipping company that is ready to listen to your concerns, and guide you through shipping your car overseas.
In this part of this series, I will cover the "General Shipment Information" section of the shipper's export declaration that must be filed if you want to ship your car internationally.

- Must be filed ~48 hours before departure date to avoid any difficulties

- For example if someone is relocating overseas and shipping their furniture and/or car to themselves, the answer to this would be YES.

K International Transport gets rate requests from many people looking to ship cars to the Middle East. Some of these requests come from buyers located in the Middle East, who want to purchase classic cars in the United States, and have them shipped to places like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai, Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt. Other times the requests come from United States service members who have been stationed in the Middle East, and want to ship their car internationally to their assignment location.
Overseas car shipping by container is the more secure option, but is less economical than overseas car shipping via Roll On / Roll Off service. We can ship your car to Saudi Arabia, for example to a few different ports. Jeddah and Dammam are common ports for Roll On / Roll Off service, for example.
We are able to offer costs of shipping your car to the Middle East using either Roll On / Roll Off service, or containerized shipping. For any international car shipping quotes, please visit our rate request page. If you have any specific questions, please give us a call at (212) 267-6400 or send us an email at inquiries@kinternational.com. Alternatively, you can skype us at kinternationalny.
